WATER TESTING
PIKUS TESTING DATA AND RESULTS
Pikus regularly tests all water features to ensure the prints will properly withstand water pressure and are fully waterproof. As part of the testing protocol, Pikus will ensure all water testing is done in accordance with local regulations. We test every water feature that goes out the door using water testing standards and likewise test all relevant projects and prints.

TESTING DETAILS:
Water Testing
Passing Results v. Fail Results
-
Testing fails occur when the print cracks under the weight from the water or leaks are found within the structure. This usually occurs within the first three days after being filled. When a product fails the test, it is then re-printed with some elements redesigned or reinforced before it is retested.
-
The product will pass water testing after 5 days of being fully filled with water and the proper plumbing elements as needed. A pass may occur with or without internal supports, depending on the shape, size, topper, or coatings of the print. Records of pass and fail results may be provided upon request. All water features and similarly used prints are required to pass all water testing before shipment.
